Maggie made several appearances in the renowned soap Corrie during her acting career. She got a brief role as a nurse in a film in 1990. She got the role of Charmian Grey two years later, and she returned in 2001 to play Ruth Audsley.
Fox was best known for his role as Bilson in The Forsyte Saga, an ITV period drama. Damian Lewis’ solicitor, Soames Forsyte, had Bilson as his housekeeper.
She also co-wrote and acted in the Radio 4 sketch show Lip Service with Ryding. This week, the duo was set to go on a statewide tour.

On Facebook, she wrote, “It is with great sadness that I have to announce the death of Maggie Fox, my comedy partner of 40 years and co-Artistic Director of LipService.”
She added, “Maggie passed away yesterday with her family around her… As you can imagine I am completely heartbroken.”
